God Is Pleased!
Minister-Evangelist Brenda is a faithful servant of God who provides spiritual guidance in ministry to individuals and families through the love of Jesus Christ. She does not aspire to worldly fame or prestige but rather acknowledges God as the source of her achievements and talents. She faithfully proclaims that her mission is to testify of the truth, as did Jesus (Jn. 18:37). While she testifies to the truth of God’s Word, she hopes to win the souls of those who are estranged from God.
She attributes all her achievements and attainments in her life’s journey to God. She possesses the requisite knowledge to operate in the five-fold ministry. The truth, in essence, is that everyone needs salvation through Jesus, and she is here to offer JESUS to them! In 1997, she heard God’s voice call her to follow Jesus’s example and share her testimonies with the world. She trusts that He who has begun a good work in her will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus’ return (Phil. 1:6).
As Pastor of Desert Rose Christ Church, she has a passion for advancing God’s Kingdom. Her compassion transcends this world. She strives to reach one person every day with the love of Jesus Christ. As an author, she speaks publicly about how she discovered the truth in her walk with God.
She serves God in various capacities including lecturing, praying, worshiping, praising, and counseling. She appreciates teaching Bible studies and clarifying the Word of God for good understanding.
She’s married to a God-fearing retired man of valor who willingly assists her in her ministerial duties to God’s Kingdom. Together, they have four God-fearing children, and beautiful grands whom they both love and, adore. She’s also the CEO/Executive Director of “The Cheer Organization” a non-profit charitable organization that God planted in her, and that she founded in “2013.”
God, the author, and finisher of her faith allowed her to become a published author of a book titled “He Touched Me.” She’s currently working to revise this manuscript, to complete the revision before the end of Spring “2024”. A second manuscript titled “HIS TOUCH IS RIGHTEOUS,” is soon to be released! Her duties as a Servant take priority overall, as she continues her journeying here on earth.

During a personal Devotion Study December 7, 1999 the Church appellation “Desert Rose Christ Church” was bestowed upon Pastor Brenda. The appellation remained in her heart throughout the duration of her husband’s tenure in the United States Army until his retirement in “2014.” One year later in “2015” the “Appellation” came into existence with said name in the first Worship Service on July 19, 2015.
At “DRCC” we believe, 1 Cor. 13:4-7 (ESV) “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with truth. “Love bears all things (regardless of what comes our way), believes all things (looking for the best in each one), hopes all things (remaining steadfast during difficult times), endures all things (without weakening). We believe with God’s love in our hearts we can conquer all things, just as Phip. 4:13 assures us that “we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.”

Our hope is that every soul will enter into a life of salvation through Him, and our VISION is, to witness many souls brought to Christ through the love and mercy of Jesus who reigns in our hearts.”
